Morris Shaw – Waist Gunner on a B-17
Morris Shaw was drafted in 1941 to be waist gunner on a B-17 in World War II. He recounts the things he endured during his deployment, from sub zero temperatures to getting shot in the leg during his 20th mission. He also talks about the time he took a picture of a plane right as it was hit by German flak, an antiaircraft gun, and exploded.
