One in the Navy and One in the Air Force both witnessed Air Attacks and Destruction – Jim Hardwick and Morris Shaw
Jim Hardwick witnessed the massive destruction of Battleships and Seamen, when the US was attacked by Japanese aircrafts at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. Morris Shaw was flying and just happened to take a photo of the plane next to him when they were hit by enemy fire. The plane he had just taken a photo of was fatally hit by German Anti-Aircraft and went down, a memory he will never forget.
